The 2025 Retrospective
Projects, Tech Writing, Launch of BuildWithRani and more!
INTRODUCTION
We are at the end of the year!
2025 became a year of exploration for me. I spent my time improving my skills, experimenting with full-stack apps, and sharing my work across different platforms for the first time. Here’s how it went!
LinkedIn Post
Shared my first full-stack project, Wellness Cart, on LinkedIn.🌿
I put out Wellness Cart, an e-commerce site demonstrating full CRUD functionality, built with React, Spring Boot, and MySQL. Running it locally with Docker gave me hands-on experience with containerized development. Sharing the project publicly felt like a small but meaningful milestone, and it reached over 1,400 impressions in the first month — which was encouraging.

Hashnode Blog
Kicked off my blogging journey on Hashnode 📝
I also started writing this year. Blogging has been a great way to reflect on my learning, organize ideas, and document projects. I’m enjoying discovering new ways to express what I’ve learned, and it feels like the start of a new habit. I’m excited to share more as the year goes on.

Portfolio Progress
I revamped my portfolio site to better showcase my projects and content. ✨
Building this website was exciting and felt like a really rewarding experience. It also gave me ideas and content that I could write about in my blog posts. At the same time, I got to solidify my knowledge of rendering MDX content and organizing a more dynamic website.
From this revamp, I added several new sections to better organize my content:
• Blogs – Where I share detailed write-ups on projects and technical concepts.
• Shorts – Quick tips, mini-updates, or small experiments.
• Daily Uses – Practical tools or scripts I use in everyday coding.
• Side Quest – Fun side projects outside main work.
• Retrospective – A personal space to reflect on my yearly progress and milestones.

BuildWithRani Launch
Launched BuildWithRani to share my projects and lessons 💫
In 2025, I realized that to grow my visibility and credibility in the tech community, I needed a personal space to document my journey and showcase my work. That’s when BuildWithRani came to life. Alongside the platform, I started sharing demo videos on YouTube to reach a wider audience.
